Who doesn’t like bark during the holidays? You get chocolatey, crunchy goodness in every bite, and that’s something I can never resist.
Over the years, I’ve missed snacking on bark because it was hard to find with all vegan ingredients, so I decided to make some and share the recipe with you.
When I found out that the first-ever Peppermint Bark Day (we can thank our friends at Williams-Sonoma for this) was set for December 1 of this year, I had to partake in the fun. (Peppermint anything is my absolute favorite!) I landed on this delicious recipe on Pinterest, and I veganized it! It took a little driving around town to find vegan marshmallows and graham crackers, but I'm happy to report that they do exist!
For this recipe, you’ll need a handful of ingredients including our Organic Peppermint Popcorn. If you’re not a peppermint lover, don’t worry, you can sub it out for our OG Organic Kettle Corn or get fancy with our 24K Gold Popcorn!
You can make this treat year-round, but it’s especially perfect for all winter celebrations to share with those you love.
Let’s dig in...

P.S. I recommend enjoying this bark with a cold brew or a glass of sweet red wine!
]]>Everything has to be organic, clean, non-GMO, easy to read, and vegan, of course! That means a lot of ideas are off the table.
We couldn’t figure it out, so I went to my local Whole Foods Market and Trader Joe's to peruse the aisles in search of a flavor that caught my eyes. I saw so many items made with organic ginger, lemon zest, lots of pepper, matcha, and turmeric, which are some of my most favorite ingredients.
Ultimately, we landed on a classic lemonade flavor because nothing screams summer like lemonade! In every batch, you can expect our OG kettle corn flavor profile with a splash of lemon.

TIPS FOR MAKING POPCORN AT HOME
Just in case you don't happen to have a bag of Major's Project Pop in your cabinet, here are a handful of tips to make your at-home popping experience super easy and delicious.
Whirley Pop: If you’re looking to cook on a stovetop, head over to Amazon to order one or consider an air popper!
Hydrated Kernels: Organic kernels need to be hydrated to pop properly. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate them.
The Right Oil: Oils have different smoke points -- research to avoid burning. Opt for organic, heart-healthy or plant-based oils like an unrefined virgin coconut oil or extra virgin olive oil.
Proper Ratios: Follow the recipe. For example, using too little oil can lead to chewy popcorn and burning. Trust me, the smell will linger!
